Welcome to the Redondo Beach real estate market in 2022. Here’s a brief overview of the year that was. Both the number of home sales and home prices in Redondo Beach CA continued to be impressive. There were 658 houses, condos, townhomes and multi unit properties sold during the twelve months of 2022.
The median sales price was an impressive $1,450,000 for the homes that sold and average price per square foot was $849.
Homes averaged only 18 days on market before going into escrow.

May 2022 saw 60 homes close escrow in Redondo Beach which was down a bit from April. Homes generally went into escrow in just about a week and sold over $100,000 above the list prices (on average)
The average “list” price was a pretty massive $1,567,867 with the average sold price at $1,685,169 meaning that, in general, homes sold pretty dramatically over the original list price.

Redondo Beach October Home Sales and House Prices
Welcome to the real estate report for Redondo Beach home sales in October 2021. It was another great month for home sales in Redondo Beach CA with a very impressive 97 on market property sales closing. The only problem is that “active” listings continued to fall meaning even more pressure on a tight housing market with little to buy out there.
The average “list” price was $1,370,912 with the average “sold” price at $1,416,929 meaning that homes generally sold WAY higher than the asking price. Average days on market was a very short 20 before going into escrow and the average price per foot was $848. September 2020 was a fantastic month for home sales and prices in the Redondo Beach real estate market. What a month it was with an amazing 110 home, condo and townhomes sold in September. Compare that with just 63 sales in September of 2019 and you get a sense of how big a month it was. See our chart showing the past 15 months of active listings, pending home sales and closed escrows in Redondo Beach. Equally impressive was the median home sales price of $1,249,000 and only 27 days on market.

February 2020 Real Estate Update for Redondo Beach
February was a very slow month for closed home sales in Redondo Beach with only 44 homes sold during the month. The number of homes for sale has been slowly dropping since last summer with a peak of 98 home sales in June. The 44 home sales in February is the fewest home sales in a month over the past 18 months other than December which is usually the low point for the year. Prices continued to be very strong with a median list prices of $1,199,000 and a median sales price of $1,182,000 indicating good market for Redondo Beach home sellers. Average price per foot for sold homes in Redondo Beach was $714. Average days on market was only 55 which is another indication of a strong sellers market.
